CHRISTMAS BLUES

Are you out of work, dealing with a death, divorce, illness, loneliness, or heartbreak this Christmas?

DO NOT DESPAIR!!!  There is one who you can release all of your pain to and like a cozy blanket he will wrap his arms around you.  You are a child of the KING of KINGS!!  Nothing in this world can keep you from his LOVE!!

Romans 8:38-39 “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE!!!!  God knows your pain and hears your prayers.  He has GREAT things in store for your life!! No matter what you’re going through this Christmas give God GLORY.  At the end of the day it is not about whether WE are satisfied but if HE is satisfied.

Psalm 34:1 "I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth."

You will never know a better Father, Comforter, Friend, Healer, or Peacemaker than God.  Let’s Honor Him not just this Christmas but EVERYDAY.  He deserves it.

Revelation 4:11 "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."

"You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think."

Natural

I have been obsessed about using natural products for quite some time now.  Here are just a handful that I use and love.

Acne Facial Bar- Best Bath Store, $5 http://www.bestbathstore.com/acne-treatment/acne-facial-bar/

Toms of Maine Deodorant & Toothpaste - $6, $5 http://www.tomsofmaine.com/home
(What I love best about this site is that they list the purpose and the source for each of the ingredients in their products.  Walmart and practically all drugstores carry this.)

Peelu Toothpaste – The name sounds kind of funny but I am really impressed with the product. It costs around $3-4. http://www.peelu.com/products.html

Organic Excellence Shampoo - $15 http://www.organicexcellence.com/chemical-free-products/mint-shampoo.php

The Pro-Vitamin Thin-to-Thick Hair Thickening Shampoo, Conditioner, and Hairspray – Jason Natural, $10 for each http://www.jason-natural.com/
(They have a huge line of other great hair products too that I can’t wait to try!  If you don’t want to order online, Giant Eagle has a huge selection.)

Pure and Natural Body Wash - $5 http://www.pure-natural.com/

One Of The Greatest Sermons You Will Ever Hear

http://www.heartcrymissionary.com/
http://illbehonest.com/

"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."- John 8:32

As a Christian I think it is crucial to ask questions and seek the truth.  I do not think it is wise to just follow what your parents or pastor has taught you without your own personal investigation.  Deuteronomy “But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.” If you cry out to the Lord and ask him to guide you to the truth, he will!!  God wants everyone in his Kingdom.  With prayer and diligence you should be doing your own research.  Do not follow blindly after what sounds, feels, or looks good.  There have been plenty of people throughout the years that have been led astray.  Matthew “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”  Psalm 118:8 “It is better to trust in the LORD, than to put confidence in man.”

I also wanted to talk more about this site that I have provided a link to in one of my earlier posts.  http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/

There is a vast amount of information on this site.  I can’t say that I agree 100% with everything but I can say that about 90% of the info is accurate.  Some of the topics include: False Religion, Doctrine, Truth about 911, Evolution, Bohemian Grove, Bible Prophecy, Rapture, Traditional Values, Great Men of God, Evils in America, Evils in Government, Feminism, Hellivision, Soulwinning, and Bible Study.  This site is not at all boring, so please check it out!!!

The 5000 Year Leap

Back in October I had the privilege of attending a Constitutional seminar in my area.  I was really excited to see how many people attended and even more thrilled when I found out that my Representative (Sam Smith) was there.  The whole seminar lasted about 7 hours and within that time I learned so much about the history of my government.  The reason I am talking about this event is because I purchased a book there called The 5000 Year Leap.  I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about the principles of freedom our Founding Fathers wanted everyone to know.  I'm not sure if anyone will have a chance to read this book so I wanted to place the 28 principles of freedom on this post just in case.

 PRINCIPLES OF LIBERTY

  1. The only reliable basis for sound government and just human relations is Natural Law.
  2. A free people cannot survive under a republican constitution unless they remain virtuous and morally strong.
  3. The most promising method of securing a virtuous and morally stable people is to elect virtuous leaders.
  4. Without religion the government of a free people cannot be maintained.
  5. All things were created by God, therefore upon Him all mankind are equally dependent, and to Him they are equally responsible.
  6. All men are created equal.
  7. The proper role of government is to protect equal rights, not provide equal things.
  8. Men are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.
  9. To protect man’s rights, God has revealed certain principles of divine law.
  10. The God-given right to govern is vested in the sovereign authority of the whole people.
  11. The majority of the people may alter or abolish a government which has become tyrannical.
  12. The United States of America shall be a republic.
  13. A constitution should be structured to permanently protect the people from the human frailties of their rulers.
  14. Life and liberty are secure only so long as the right of property is secure.
  15. The highest level of prosperity occurs when there is a free market economy and a minimum of government regulations.
  16. The government should be separated into three branches: legislative, executive, and judicial.
  17. A system of checks and balances should be adopted to prevent the abuse of power.
  18. The unalienable rights of the people are most likely to be preserved if the principles of government are set forth in a written constitution.
  19. Only limited and carefully defined powers should be delegated to government, all others being retained in the people.
  20. Efficiency and dispatch require government to operate according to the will of the majority, but constitutional provisions must be made to protect the rights of the minority..
  21. Strong local self-government is the keystone to preserving human freedom.
  22. A free people should be governed by law and not by the whims of men.
  23. A free society cannot survive as a republic without a broad program of general education.
  24. A free people will not survive unless they stay strong.
  25. “Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations: entangling alliances with none.”
  26. The core unit which determines the strength of any society is the family; therefore the government should foster and protect its integrity.
  27. The burden of debt is as destructive to freedom as subjugation by conquest.
  28. The United States has a manifest destiny to be an example and a blessing to the entire human race.
These principles were taken from a handy book mark that came with the book, which was put together by the 1991, 2009 National Center for Constitutional Studies.

Huge Love: The Secret Kingdom - Pat Robertson: "Pat Robertson has a series called The Secret Kingdom - which are scriptural promises and principles. I was blown away them and I know you will too!..."

YOUR LIFE is Jesus to someone,
Though tattered and torn it may be.
Though often times weak and unstable,
You're all of God someone will see.

YOUR TONGUE is Jesus to someone.
That idle, insensitive word
Reflects to at least one searching heart
An idle, insensitive Lord.

YOUR GOALS are Jesus to someone.
What you put first, they believe,
Are the goals of God for the Christian.
Your life is all they receive.

YOUR FAITHFULNESS... that's Jesus to someone.
Their judgment of how God is true,
Rests unquestionably in the faithfulness
They see day by day in you.

YOUR LOVE is Jesus to someone--
That someone who is seeking to know
That Jesus will follow and guide and
Befriend wherever in life they might go.

SO BEWARE lest others blaspheme
God by what you say or do,
For the only Jesus that someone knows
Is the Jesus they see in you.

Death Penalty?

Real Christians say abolish the death penalty?

I am not exactly sure how I feel about the death penalty but this post by Alan Keyes gave me some things to consider.

Michael Youssef delivered a powerful message on America's Christian foundation and why it is critical to a free society. Take a few moments to watch this timely and relevant message.

“What did it mean to be a slave?  It meant that you actually had guaranteed shelter, guaranteed clothing; your Master guarantees your food, your clothing, your shelter, and a job! Sounds interesting doesn’t it?  That’s exactly what the Obama faction, and the leftists, and the socialists, and the so called liberals want to pretend is what all Americans should aspire to.  But I think having grown up wrestling with that heritage of slavery, understanding its true meaning I have seen through that phony promise of socialism and government dominated largess.  It simply means that we shall all become slaves on the government's plantation.” – Alan Keyes

To Sum It All Up

I really think this is a perfect way to sum up the divide between teapartiers and the corrupt people in our government.

"These leaders and candidates can't stand on facts or logic, so they use hate and insults," Littleton said in a statement. "When you believe in principles of liberty, you don't have any reason to hate or demean. We don't need to make appeals to emotion because we can rely on history and fact."

Every American should be a TEAPARTIER!!!!

Our Constitution is being VIOLATED by both the DEMS and REPS. This is unacceptable! The arrogance that is continually being shown to the average person who voices a concern is frightening. Who do these people think they are? They should be required to wear a little sticker everyday on their foreheads that says, “I WORK for YOU!” Maybe that will remind them to have a little respect for their bosses!

Core Values:

Fiscal Responsibility: Fiscal Responsibility by government honors and respects the freedom of the individual to spend the money that is the fruit of their own labor. A constitutionally limited government, designed to protect the blessings of liberty, must be fiscally responsible or it must subject its citizenry to high levels of taxation that unjustly restrict the liberty our Constitution was designed to protect. Such runaway deficit spending as we now see in Washington D.C. compels us to take action as the increasing national debt is a grave threat to our national sovereignty and the personal and economic liberty of future generations.

Constitutionally Limited Government: We, the members of The Tea Party Patriots, are inspired by our founding documents and regard the Constitution of the United States to be the supreme law of the land. We believe that it is possible to know the original intent of the government our founders set forth, and stand in support of that intent. Like the founders, we support states' rights for those powers not expressly stated in the Constitution. As the government is of the people, by the people and for the people, in all other matters we support the personal liberty of the individual, within the rule of law.

Free Markets: A free market is the economic consequence of personal liberty. The founders believed that personal and economic freedom were indivisible, as do we. Our current government's interference distorts the free market and inhibits the pursuit of individual and economic liberty. Therefore, we support a return to the free market principles on which this nation was founded and oppose government intervention into the operations of private business.”
